FAQs

Your Questions Answered: Launch Your Cybersecurity Career

Who is an ideal candidate for this program?

Our programs are designed for three types of individuals:

Mid-career professionals in IT, audit, compliance, or related fields looking to transition into cybersecurity leadership or consulting.

Entry-level professionals or graduates seeking practical, hands-on skills to land their first cybersecurity role.

Career switchers who want personalized guidance and mentorship to build clarity and enter the cybersecurity field with confidence.

Whether you're aiming for leadership or just getting started, we have a path designed for your growth.

What prerequisites are needed to enroll in the cybersecurity bootcamps?

There are no strict technical prerequisites for our GRC or SecurityOps tracks — just a commitment to learn, apply, and grow.

However:

CSMP+ (Leadership Track) is best suited for those with at least 3–5 years of experience in IT, risk, compliance, or audit.

SecOps Track may require basic computer literacy and interest in technical problem-solving.

For mentorship-only (CyberCareer Blueprint), no experience is required — just a desire to explore and advance your cybersecurity career.

How long does it take to complete the cybersecurity programs?

Our programs are designed to be completed in 8 to 12 weeks, depending on your pace and the specific track you choose.

Most participants complete the structured cohorts in 8 weeks Some extend with extra project time or self-paced learning support

You’ll always have the flexibility to work at your speed — with mentorship to keep you accountable.

Are there any online courses available?

Yes — all of our programs are delivered online through live virtual sessions, interactive workshops, and guided mentorship.

We also offer on-demand and self-paced options for certification training through our PECB Training Store.

Whether you prefer structured cohorts or flexible learning, we have options to suit your schedule.

What kind of job support do you offer after completing the course

We provide comprehensive and ongoing career support tailored to each track — continuing well beyond the end of your program. Support includes:

Online profile optimization (LinkedIn, resume, and job boards)

Job and project referrals from our partners

Interview preparation and mock sessions

Ongoing job search and career progression support

Access to our private community, including regular live sessions, networking, and support

Class recordings available for up to 6 months after the program

SecOps participants retain access to hands-on labs and projects for at least 6 months post-program

While GRC and SecOps tracks include direct job search support, the CSMP+ track focuses on independent consulting, personal branding, and leadership readiness — not traditional job placement.

Can I get financial aid or payment options for the courses

Yes — we offer flexible payment plans for most of our programs.

Installment options are available upon request

Occasional scholarships or discounts are offered for select cohorts

Corporate sponsorships or training reimbursements may apply if you’re currently employed
